According to our colleagues at <i><b>sportinmalta.com</b></i>, Nigerian forward Akanni Sunday Wasiu is no longer part of Stephen Azzopardi's plans for this season and is set to be released by Maltese club Floriana in the coming hours.<br /><br />28 - year - old Wasiu was brought back to Floriana after three years. He was persuaded to rejoin the club by a particular committee member. <br /><br />He was a hit with <i>The Greens </i>back in 2009 after he was brought to Malta by Irish Roddy Collins and found the back of the net 7 times till January.
