Turkish giants Galatasaray are the latest candidate for the hot-in-demand Blackburn Rovers forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni.<br /><br />Takvim.com.tr has disclosed that Galatasaray are looking for reinforcements in attack. Included in the list of possible summer acquisitions is Yakubu, who scored 17 goals for Blackburn Rovers last season.<br /><br />Yakubu commands a transfer of fee of five million pounds, and wages of around two million euros a year. <br /><br />This is not the first time the former Everton forward is being linked with a move to Galatasaray. In the winter market, he had also attracted interest from the 18-time champions of Turkey.<br /><br /> Galatasaray face competition for Yakubu's signature. Clubs in China, Reading, Southampton, West Ham and EskiÅŸehirspor are also in the race to sign the physical Nigerian forward.<br />&nbsp;<br /><br /><br />
