Official: Kim Ojo Inks Three - And - A - Half Year Deal With Racing Genk
Nigerian striker Kim Ojo's five - year stay in Norway came to an end on Monday. Belgian club Racing Genk have officially announced the acquisition of Ojo on a three - and - a - half - year contract.<br /><br />Brann CEO, Roald Bruun-Hanssen confirmed the departure of Kim Ojo to the press in Norway.<br /><br />''This is probably the best for both parties. It is a further step in the career of Kim. He has done a good job for SK Brann the two years he has been here. Now we must try to find a replacement. Kim has been an important player for us,'' says Bruun-Hanssen to <i>bt.no</i>.<br /><br />Standard Liege were also interested in Ojo, but Racing Genk moved faster and snatched the striker from under their noses.<br /><br />In two seasons with SK Brann, Ojo netted an impressive 26 goals in 57 matches in Norway's top division. <br /><br />Photo Credit: SK Brann<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
