Blackburn Awaiting Approval From EFL, Fail To Get Efe Deal Ratified On Deadline Day
Published: February 01, 2017
Blackburn Rovers are hopeful that their last minute attempt to sign Efe Ambrose on loan from Celtic in the January transfer window is successful.
The transfer of the Nigeria international was not ratified by the English authorities before the transfer window closed for business on Tuesday.
The EFL will have to check if the final paperwork was done before the 2300 hours deadline.
Ambrose has fallen out of favour at Parkhead, with only two appearances to his name this season.
He joined Celtic in the summer of 2012 from Israeli outfit MS Ashdod.
