Fisayo Dele-Bashiru reached a notable personal milestone despite S.S. Lazio's 1-0 defeat to ACF Fiorentina in Monday's Serie A clash at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
The Nigerian midfielder, who had been a fitness doubt heading into the encounter, was introduced at the start of the second half, replacing Toma Bašić as Lazio chased an equaliser.
However, the visitors were unable to overturn the deficit, having fallen behind in the first half through a strike from Robin Gosens, which ultimately proved decisive.
Despite the disappointing result, the fixture marked Dele-Bashiru's 50th appearance for Lazio since his arrival.
The 25-year-old initially joined the Rome-based side on loan from Hatayspor in the summer of 2024, following an impressive spell in Turkey, before completing a permanent move.
Since settling at the Stadio Olimpico, he has contributed six goals and four assists across all competitions.
Nonetheless, the current campaign has proven more challenging for the Super Eagles midfielder, with injuries limiting his impact.
The Nigerian International has managed just one goal and one assist in 21 appearances so far this season.
With only a handful of matches remaining, Dele-Bashiru will be aiming to regain momentum and rediscover his best form as Lazio look to finish the season on a stronger note.
