Charlton, Scunthorpe, Hearts & Gillingham Interested In Nigerian Defender
Published: May 11, 2017
Charlton Athletic are among the clubs interested in signing Nigerian defender Deji Oshilaja in the summer transfer window.
Football League Zone has claimed that the Addicks face competition, with Scunthorpe, Hearts and Gillingham also in the race for his signature.
The 24-year-old spent the whole of this season on loan at Gillingham, and was credited with 40 appearances (2 goals) in all competitions in his third loan spell with The Gills.
There is a possibility that Oshilaja would remain at parent club Cardiff City next season if he impresses the manager during pre-season training.
He joined Cardiff City at the age of 16, and previously had loan spells with Newport County, Sheffield Wednesday and AFC Wimbledon.
