Nigeria-eligible players delivered standout performances across the English Football League, finding the net in the Championship, League One and League Two.

In the Championship, in-form forward Femi Azeez produced a clinical display, scoring twice to lead Millwall to a 2-0 victory over Oxford United at The Den. 

Azeez opened the scoring in the first half with a composed finish following a well-worked team move, before doubling the advantage after the break with a powerful strike from a tight angle. 

Despite the win, Millwall narrowly missed out on automatic promotion and will now compete in the playoffs for a place in the Premier League.

In League One, Hakeem Odoffin was among the scorers as Luton Town edged Bolton Wanderers 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. 

Odoffin equalised with a towering header from a corner before Shayden Morris netted the decisive goal. 

Elsewhere, Micah Olabiyi marked his debut in style, calmly slotting home to help Wycombe Wanderers secure a 3-2 victory over Rotherham United in another entertaining contest.

League Two also witnessed impressive contributions from Nigerian-eligible players. 

Omar Sowunmi was on target as Bromley defeated Walsall 3-1 at Hayes Lane, heading home in the 67th minute to seal the win and confirm the club's League Two title triumph. 

Jid Okeke pulled one back for the visitors in the 62nd minute - his first league goal for the Saddlers. 

Meanwhile, Philip Chinedu made an instant impact off the bench, scoring shortly after his introduction to hand Barnet a 2-1 victory over Harrogate Town at Wetherby Road, a result that confirmed Harrogate's relegation.

Justin Amaluzor was also among the goalscorers, opening the scoring for Grimsby Town in their 1-1 draw against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

The forward finished emphatically from close range after a slick team move.
