Adekite Fatuga-Dada has been nominated for Watford Women's Goal of the Season for the 2021-2022 campaign, informs the official website of the Hornets.
The 2021 Super Falcons invitee has been shortlisted for her effort against Blackburn Rovers in a Women's Championship clash at Sir Tom Finney Stadium in Lancashire on September 12.
With the Hornets trailing by three goals, Fatuga-Dada bagged a consolation two minutes from time when her free-kick dropped into the eighteen-yard box ended up in the back of the net.
The Nigerian is up against Flo Fyfe, Anne Meiwald, Leanne Bell, Emma Beckett, Rosie Kmita and Helen Ward for the Goal of the Season prize.
Her other goal in the division was netted in the entertaining 3-3 draw with Durham last month.
Fatuga-Dada is Watford Women's longest-serving player, having joined the club at the age of eleven though she had a brief spell at Arsenal.
The striker trained with the Super Falcons before their double-header against Ivory Coast in the AWCON qualifiers.
