Nigerian exports: Millwall's Azeez, Derby County's Ozoh, Valencia's Sadiq find the net

Allnigeriasoccer.com's review of the Nigerian players that found the net for their respective foreign clubs in league matches across Europe on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

In the EFL Championship, Femi Azeez returned to the scoresheet to help Millwall secure a crucial 3-1 victory over Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium.

The 24-year-old forward made his impact count with a powerful left-footed strike after being set up by Thierno Ballo.

Despite a strong attempt from Gavin Bazunu to keep the effort out, the ball slipped through his grasp and found the back of the net.

Elsewhere, Super Eagles hopeful David Ozoh was also on target, though his effort was not enough to prevent Derby County from suffering a 2-1 defeat to Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Ozoh, born in Spain but eligible for Nigeria, drew Derby level in the 54th minute following a well-worked team move.

The midfielder initiated the play with a high press, dispossessing Kenny McLean before combining effectively with his teammates.

The ball eventually fell kindly back into his path, and he showed composure to curl a precise finish into the near corner.

In Spain’s La Liga, Sadiq Umar ended his goal drought by scoring in Valencia’s 1-1 draw against RCD Mallorca at the Iberostar Stadium.

The Super Eagles striker found the equalizer in the 67th minute, flying from the back post to head home a flick-on from Javi Guerra.

The goal marked a timely return to form for the former UD Almería forward, who will be hoping to build momentum in the closing stages of the campaign.
