Adama Pays Surprise Visit To Confluence Queens
Hon Abdul Adama paid a surprise visit to the training ground of Confluence Queens on Thursday evening.<br /><br />The former chairman of the Nigeria Women Premier League side breezed in to the Mainbowl of the Lokoja Confluence Stadium and was welcomed by players and officials of the club.<br /><br />“Football will always be my passion. I just cannot live without,” the young administrator was quoted as saying by the media officer of the club Ojo Oluwatosin.<br /><br />Mallam Adama apologized to the team for taking a big decision in resigning a position he held for 19 months.<br /><br />“It was a big decision I took, but life must go on. I sincerely apologize to you all and wish you the best in your career.<br /><br />He also praised the team’s gallant performance in the NWPL week one loss to Delta Queens, while urging them to be focused and be ready for the task that lies ahead.<br /><br />“I read reports of your exploits at the Oleh Township Stadium. It’s not easy scoring a goal away from home and I’m so proud of you all. <br /><br />“The race to success has just begun and I hope you all step up and make the state proud in subsequent matches.”<br /><br />The management of the club led by Abdul Sule thanked Abdul Adama for his gesture and prayed for success in his future endeavours.
