CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa is poised to break the transfer record for a Nigerian player if his transfer to the English Premier League materializes this summer.<br /><br />It has been reported that Leicester City are willing to splash &euro;30 million to sign the pacy striker from the Muscovites, while Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid in the region of &euro;25 million.<br /><br />As thing stand, if Musa should sign for one of the English teams, he will break the record currently held by his skipper in the national team John Obi Mikel.<br /><br />Now 29, Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006 from Lyn Oslo, with the London club paying total transfer fees of 20 million euros.<br /><br />CSKA Moscow purchased Ahmed Musa from VVV Venlo in January 2012 for five million euros which now seems like a bargain, given that their profit on investment could be as high as 400 percent.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
