Super Eagles striker Akor Adams shared a warm moment with Jordan forward Musa Al-Taamari following Tuesday evening’s international friendly in Turkey, which ended in a 2–2 draw.
After the match, Adams took to his Instagram story to post a photo of himself alongside Al-Taamari and the President of the Jordanian Football Association, Prince Ali.
The two players had exchanged jerseys, each donning the other’s national team colours.
Adams captioned the image, 'Always a pleasure, my brother', a message Al-Taamari echoed when he reposted the photo with a simple reply: 'My brother'.
Notably, Al-Taamari had opened the scoring against Nigeria with a well-taken free kick in the 17th minute.
The relationship between Adams and Al-Taamari was established during their stint at Montpellier, where they shared the pitch for a season and a half from the summer of 2023 to the winter of 2025.
Both players have maintained impressive form at their respective clubs, with Al-Taamari emerging as a key figure for Rennes after contributing eight Ligue 1 goals this season—three scored and five assisted—while Adams leads Sevilla's scoring charts in La Liga with seven goals.
