Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Belgian First Division A club Anderlecht have posted a scout to watch the Golden Eaglets players when they take on Ecuador in their second Group B match at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
One of the players that will be on the list of players to be scouted by Anderlecht is captain Samson Tijani who has been linked with a move to the club.
The Purple & White could decide to check on the progress of Wisdom Ubani who trained with the 34-time Belgian champions after the U17 AFCON in Tanzania but struggled to impress back then.
Attacking midfielder Akinkunmi Amoo is confirmed to be on the radar of Anderlecht and will also be watched.
Several European clubs not limited to Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid have sent their representatives to Brazil to monitor the outstanding Golden Eaglets players.
Former Nigeria youth international Philip Osondu was snapped up by Anderlecht after winning the Golden Ball at the 1987 U16 World Championship in Canada, and the current Golden Eaglets stars will be hoping to follow in his footsteps.
