Premier League table toppers Arsenal claimed back-to-back wins in the Dubai Super Cup, beating Italian giants AC Milan 2-1  Al Maktoum Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

As for team news, Hale End Academy products of Nigerian descent Ethan Nwaneri and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji started on the bench, while onetime Nigeria Football Federation target now cap-tied to England, Fikayo Tomori went the full ninety for the current Serie A champions. 

Martin Odegaard, with a delightful free-kick, opened the scoring in the 21st minute and the Gunners extended their lead four minutes before halftime through Reiss Nelson.

In the 78th minute, Tomori halved the deficit, heading home a free-kick from Sandro Tonali to set up a nervy finish for manager Mikel Arteta and his team.

Three minutes after Tomori's goal, the Spanish coach brought on Bulter-Oyedeji to replace Eddie Nketiah, while Nwaneri entered the fray in the 90th minute, replacing Odegaard.

The north London side were given an extra point for winning the penalty shootout 4-3.

After the match with AC Milan, Arsenal will fly back to the United Kingdom before their friendly with Juventus on December 17.
