Watford beat Arsenal 4-2 in a behind-closed-doors friendly staged at London Colney on Saturday with five players of Nigerian descent on parade in the second half.
Ethan Nwaneri and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji came off the bench at halftime, while Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong, former Nigeria U23 international Tom Dele-Bashiru and Joseph Hungbo featured for the Hornets.
Arsenal arranged the friendly as part of their preparations for the restart of the Premier League in three weeks time.
The Gunners led 2-1 at the break thanks to goals from Marquinhos and Eddie Nketiah, while Keinan Davis pulled one back for the Championship club.
Seven minutes into the second half, Davis grabbed his second goal of the game when he headed home a free kick from Hungbo.
Yaser Asprilla fired into the top comer just before the hour mark to give Watford the lead for the first time in the game, before João Pedro sealed the win with Watford's fourth goal in the 77th minute.
Tom Dele-Bashiru missed a chance to score Watford's fifth goal after receiving a through ball from Adrian Blake.
Zach Awe and Joel Ideho were non-playing substitutes for Arsenal.
