Former Nigeria U20 international Yira Sor continued his goalscoring form for Racing Genk, netting in his club's 3-0 demolition of KAA Gent in a Belgian Jupiler Pro League clash at the Cegeka Arena on Sunday.
Just three days earlier, Sor had scored a crucial goal as Genk secured progression to the Europa League round of 16 following a thrilling 3-3 draw with Dinamo Zagreb.
The scoring in Sunday's encounter was opened by Zakaria El Ouahdi inside four minutes, before Belgium U21 international of Nigerian descent Noah Adedeji-Sternberg doubled the lead two minutes into the second half.
Seventeen minutes after coming on as a substitute, Sor struck to make it 3-0, capitalising on a swift counter-attack orchestrated by Junya Ito.
Having failed to score in his first fourteen league games of the season, the former Flying Eagles winger has now found the net four times in his last eight appearances.
A product of Family Love Academy, Sor joined Racing Genk in January 2023, following spells with 36 Lion, Baník Ostrava and Slavia Prague.
He represented the Flying Eagles at the 2019 Fifa U20 World Cup, appearing in matches against Ukraine and Senegal.
Racing Genk sit sixth in the league standings after recording their fourth victory from five league games.
