According to the online edition of the Mirror UK, Folarin Balogun is being targeted by Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Rennes amid his contract standoff with Arsenal.
Last month before the transfer window closed for business, the Anglo-Nigerian striker opted to see out the remainder of his contract with the Gunners though he qualified to sign a preliminary contract with a foreign club as his deal with the north London club runs out in June 2021.
The 19-year-old is hesitating to commit his future to Arsenal because he fears he would not get game time with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel
Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah currently ahead of him in manager Mikel Arteta's
pecking order of strikers.
Arteta has reiterated that Arsenal want to keep Balogun beyond the end of this season but the truth is that it's looking likely that he could leave the Emirates Stadium when his contract expires in the summer.
Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Rennes are prepared to offer him a lucrative contract in a bid to convince him to leave Arsenal.
Balogun has made five senior appearances for Arsenal, scoring twice but he still has not made his debut in the Premier League.
