Former Liverpool star Charlie Adam has informed clubs interested in signing Joe Aribo as from the January transfer window that they must be prepared to cough up a hefty fee to land his services.
It is confirmed that the likes of Watford, Brentford and Crystal Palace are keeping an eye on the situation of the Nigeria national teamer at Rangers
Aribo has indicated that he is not interested in prolonging his stay at Ibrox beyond the end of the 2022-2023 season and Rangers might be forced to sell him as they risk losing him for nothing in a year's time when he is permitted to sign a pre-contract with another club.
Adam was left impressed by the performance of the Super Eagles star after coming off the bench to help Rangers register a 1-1 draw against Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Aribo could have even won it for Rangers in the closing minutes of the contest but was unable to get enough on his shot.
"Roofe has been out with an injury and got a good few minutes. Joe Aribo is game changer though. It would have to be big money to get him in January!' Adam said on the BBC during the game.
Aribo joined Rangers from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2019 and has been involved in 41 goals in 119 appearances across all competitions for the Scottish giants.
