Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that two Championship clubs are battling it out to sign 2019 Flying Eagles invitee Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Sky Sports Transfer Center broke the news that Blackpool have made a bid to sign Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Dele-Bashiru but face competition from Norwich City who are also interested.
Dele-Bashiru is highly regarded at the Owls, making 25 appearances combined in the League One and playoffs as manager Darren Moore's side narrowly missed promotion back to the Championship.
The 21-year-old has entered the final twelve months of his contract and Sheffield Wednesday are keen to tie him down to a new contract.
It is envisaged that Dele-Bashiru would sign a three-year contract to remain at Hillsborough until the summer of 2025 if Sheffield Wednesday manage to fend off interest from the Seasiders and Canaries.
