Bright Ejike and Roland Koffi were both on the scoresheet as Heartland defeated FC Taraba 2-0 to move to fifth on the log at the Rojenny Stadium on Sunday. <br /><br />The Naze Millionaires and Pride of Taraba were both looking for points following their failure to do so in their midweek encounters.<br /><br />The match got off to a lively start, with Ejike slotting home Collins Nwaneri&rsquo;s cross in the fifth minute.<br /><br />Taraba pressed the home side in search of the equaliser, but Heartland showed high level of concentration and organisation in defence.<br /><br />Luther Iyorhe saw his flick cleared off the line as Taraba probed the homers.<br /><br />The hosts started attacking again and they finally found the second goal they had been looking for on the half hour mark.<br /><br />Koffi got a well deserved goal after beating the goalkeeper with a fierce shot from long range to make it 2-0.<br /><br />In the end, Heartland managed to protect their lead and recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory over Taraba to move to fifth on the log, and 5 points behind leaders Sunshine Stars.
