Ademola Lookman was delighted to pick up the 2015-2016 Charlton Athletic Young Player of the Year Award.<br /><br />The Wandsworth-born striker made his professional debut for the Addicks on November 3, 2015 and has racked up 23 appearances in total in the Championship, scoring five goals, including last weekend&rsquo;s strike against Leeds United.<br /><br />&ldquo;Thankful to have won Young Player of the Year last night , Thanks to all the fans who voted for me ! ❤️ #cafc,&rdquo; Lookman tweeted on May 2nd. <br /><br />The 18-year-old was named the Football League Championship Apprentice of the Year at a gala ceremony held about two weeks ago.<br /><br />He is reportedly on the wishlist of Premier League teams ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : football-league.co.uk <br />
