Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has opened up on the connection he has with Queens Park Rangers playmaker Eberechi Eze and Liverpool-owned midfielder Ovie Ejaria apart from the fact that the two Championship stars have Nigerian blood flowing in their veins and they were all born in London.
While Abraham turned down an opportunity to represent Nigeria and became cap-tied to his country of birth last year, Ejaria has switched allegiances from England to Nigeria and Eze is waiting for the right time to make a decision on his international future.
Abraham has revealed that he once played on the same youth team as Eze and Ejaria, and they won a lot of tournaments during their formative years as footballers.
"I joined Chelsea at the age of nearly seven. I was at a local team in Greenwich, it was my mom's friend's team," Abraham said on Instagram Live.
"I just went there, trained couple of days, the next thing they accepted me. From there we started winning a lot of tournaments.
"There was me, Ovie who is currently on loan at Reading, Ebere at Queens Park Rangers, there was a few of us, it's good."
Eze and Ejaria used to be teammates at the Arsenal Academy before the QPR star joined Fulham to continue his footballing education in 2011.
