Super Eagles hopeful Ike Ugbo was on target in the Belgian First Division A as Cercle Brugge were held to a 1-1 draw by KV Oostende at the Diaz Arena on Sunday.
Manager Yves Vanderhaeghe's men took the lead three minutes after the restart thanks to a goal from the Chelsea loanee.
Ugbo tapped in from close range after a shot from Decostere was not properly cleared by the KV Oostende defence.
However, the striker's celebration was cut short when the assistant referee raised his flag but the goal was eventually awarded after a VAR review.
With his goal, the former England youth international managed to score in three consecutive games for the first time in his career in the Belgian First Division A.
Ugbo has found the net sixteen times in the league and is still the top-scoring Chelsea loanee in 2020-2021.
The 22-year-old also scored against KV Oostende in a Cup clash in February.
