Nigeria international Chinedu Obasi has returned to Germany after spending the last few weeks in Nigeria vacationing.<br /><br />At the end of this month, the Beijing 2008 Olympics silver medalist will walk away from Schalke 04 as a free agent after his contract was not renewed.<br /><br />In recent years the 29 - year - old has been plagued by injuries which limited his appearances in the Bundesliga to 6 league games in 2014 so his priority now is to return to full fitness before he begins his search for a new employer.<br /><br />&ldquo;Chinedu Obasi went back to Germany two days ago.
