Club Brugge keeping tabs on AIK forward Zadok Yohanna after blistering start to season

Club Brugge are reportedly among the European clubs keeping tabs on Nigerian forward Zadok Yohanna ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.

The 18-year-old has caught the eye in the 2026 season, registering six goal involvements (4 goals, 2 assists) in five outings across all competitions for Swedish club AIK.

Voetbal Nieuws claims that Club Brugge have been impressed by the Nigerian winger, though they are not alone, with several other European clubs also placing him on their shortlist.

In AIK’s opening match of the new Allsvenskan season, Yohanna scored and provided an assist in a 2–1 victory over Halmstads BK, further enhancing his reputation as one of the most exciting teenagers in Swedish football.

AIK recently confirmed that a lot of clubs are interested in signing the talented winger.

Club Brugge are reportedly in the market for a winger in the summer transfer window, with Greece star Christos Tzolis expected to depart the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Given that the young Nigerian is contracted to AIK until December 31, 2029 and is widely regarded as a future star, Club Brugge would be required to pay a substantial fee to secure his services from the Swedish club.

Club Brugge have signed Nigerian players from Scandinavian teams in the past, including Raphael Onyedika and Vince Osuji.
