With a statement on the official website, Premier League giants Chelsea have announced that tri-national midfielder Landon Emenalo has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term deal.
Eligible to represent the United States, Nigeria or England at senior level, Landon is the son of former Nigeria international left-back Michael Emenalo, who starred for the Super Eagles during their first appearance at the World Cup.
The new deal will keep Landon Emenalo at The Blues until at least the end of the 2030-2031 season.
Landon is a product of the Chelsea academy, having joined the club at U8 level before spending time at Monaco and returned to the Blues at U13 level.
The 18-year-old was among Chelsea's intake of scholars for the 2024-2025 season and signed his first professional contract in January 2025.
This season, Emenalo has featured for Chelsea in the U18 Premier League Premier League 2, Premier League International Cup, FA Youth Cup, UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy.
Though he has yet to make his senior debut, the left-back has received three call-ups for official games, in matches against Pafos (Champions League), Legia Warsaw (Conference League) and Liverpool (Premier League).
The Arizona native has youth team caps for England and United States.
