Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca will not be able to call upon the services of Kelechi Iheanacho for his side's Championship clash against Millwall at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Nigeria international was not in the squad for the 4-0 win over Plymouth Argyle last weekend due to illness - the first time he has been omitted from the gameday squad since Maresca took charge of the Foxes.
Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy's absence against the Pilgrims opened the door for Zambia striker Patson Daka to make a rare start - his first of the campaign.
At his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon in Seagrave, Maresca did not bring good news on the fitness of the two center forwards plus attacking midfielders Kasey McAteer and Yunus Akgün, saying the quartet remain sidelined and he will be without them for Wednesday's game with Millwall.
In quotes relayed by Leicester City's official webpage, the Italian manager stated: "They are going to be out, all of them.
""It’s still a small problem [for Vardy]. We played just two days ago. Hopefully we can have him back very soon."
Iheanacho's international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi should be available for selection given that the Leicester City boss confirmed during the press briefing that there are no other fresh injury concerns.
Leicester City, currently on 49 points, could be the first team in Championship history to get more than 51 points after 21 games if they are able to beat Millwall tonight.
