Crystal Palace boss spotted in prolonged pitchside discussion with Wolves striker Arokodare

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner drew attention at Molineux on Saturday after engaging in an unusually long post-match conversation with Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare, according to a report by Molineux.News

The moment came after Palace claimed a 2-0 victory in Rob Edwards’ first match in charge of Wolves.

Arokodare, who started alongside Jorgen Strand Larsen for the first time under the new head coach, produced flashes of promise despite Wolves’ disappointing result.

The pair linked well at times, with Strand Larsen sending Arokodare through on goal with a clever flick.

However, the forward chose to pass to Marshall Munetsi instead of taking the shot himself, a decision that summed up Wolves’ lack of confidence in decisive moments.

The real talking point, however, emerged after the final whistle. Glasner and Arokodare remained on the pitch long after other players had departed, locked in what appeared to be an extended and animated discussion.

They were the last two individuals on the field, with no clear explanation for the interaction.

There is no known personal connection between the Palace manager and the Wolves forward.

Although Arokodare featured for FC Köln during Glasner’s time managing Wolfsburg, their paths did not directly cross.

The unusual exchange has fuelled speculation, particularly with Jean-Philippe Mateta attracting interest due to his recent form.

With no clarification from either side, the nature of the conversation remains unknown.

However, the moment has quickly become one of the major talking points from the match and has added a layer of intrigue to Arokodare’s situation as Wolves look to rebuild under their new head coach.
