Dominic Solanke Wants 50,000 Pounds Per Week Before Extending Chelsea Contract
Dominic Solanke is demanding a pay rise of approximately 600 percent of his present wages before putting pen to paper on a new deal with Chelsea according to reports in the British press.<br /><br />The <i>Daily Mail</i> has reported that the England youth-teamer wants 50,000 pounds per week and assurances that he will be handed a first-team role next season before committing his long-term future to The Blues.<br /><br />Solanke, who is spending the whole of this season on loan at Dutch outfit Vitesse, will walk away from Stamford Bridge as a free agent in the summer of 2017 if he does not extend his agreement.<br /><br />The 18-year-old has only one appearance under his belt for the first team of Chelsea which came in a Champions League fixture against Maribor in October 2014 and spent only 17 minutes on the pitch.<br /><br />Dominic Solanke is represented by his stepfather who is in talks with Chelsea.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : vitesse.nl<br />
