Former Warri Wolves striker Oke Akpoveta has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Swedish Superettan side Dalkurd after choosing not to extend his stay at rivals IK Frej.<br /><br />The Nigerian frontman had appended his signature to the contract before he went on vacation last month but decided to keep it a secret until today when Dalkurd announced his capture.<br /><br />The 24-year-old Akpoveta had a descent start to his career in Sweden, scoring 10 goals in 13 appearances in the second-tier, the highest number of goals he has netted for a club since he turned professional.<br /><br />For the remainder of the season, he will wear the number 25 kit.<br /><br />Oke Akpoveta trained for the first time with his new teammates today, Wednesday. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
