With a statement posted on their official webpage, League One club Gillingham F.C have announced that they have struck a deal with Cardiff City over the signing of Nigerian stopper Deji Oshilaja.<br /><br />The 23-year-old central defender will spend the next twelve months on loan at the Priestfield Stadium outfit.<br /><br /> <div>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s a good feeling to be back, I always said I felt at home here,&rdquo; said Oshilaja to gillinghamfootballclub.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;I get on well with everyone; the staff have been good to me so it was a no-brainer to return.&nbsp;</div> <div><br /></div> <div>&ldquo;You always want to build on what you did last season, and with the team we&rsquo;ve got I think we can push on.&rdquo;</div><br />Oshilaja had two loan spells at Gillingham last season, making 25 appearances and scoring 3 goals.<br /><br />The Londoner has also enjoyed loan spells at Newport County, Sheffield Wednesday and AFC Wimbledon.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : afcwimbledon.co.uk<br /><br />
