The 20-year-old has appended his signature to a one-year contract with the Robins, with an option for a further year.
Odimayo was released by Reading at the end of the 2019-2020 season following the expiration of his contract and has been offered a deal by Swindon Town after impressing in three pre-season games with the club.
Taking about his experience of the club so far, Odimayo told Swindon Town's official website : "When I came here on the first day, it was all a new surrounding, but the lads have been great. They’ve really taken to me.
"You saw how the team dealt with League Two so comfortably, the club has great ambition and I want to be part of that."
A former Reading U18 captain, Odimayo made his competitive debut for the Royals in a League Cup match against Plymouth Argyle in August 2019 and totaled 30 appearances in the Premier League 2 prior to his departure.
