Russian Premier League club Krylia Sovetov have announced the signing of Jerry Mbakogu on loan from Carpi.<br /><br />The contract signed will keep the 23-year-old at Samara until the end of the 2016-2017 season.<br /><br />The future of Mbakogu had been up in the air following the demotion of Carpi from the Italian top-flight at the end of last season, with the Nigerian frontman also linked with Turkish champs Besiktas aside the interest from Russia.<br /><br />Born in Lagos, he started off his career with the youth teams of Scorz&egrave; Peseggia, Padova and Palermo, and has also represented Juve Stabia. <br /><br />In 85 outings for Carpi, Jerry Mbakogu, who has committed his international future to Nigeria, netted 24 goals.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : kc-camapa.ru<br />
