Dundee United And Edward Ofere Go Their Separate Ways
Dundee United have embarked on cost-cutting measures following their demotion from the Scottish Premiership and will not renew the contracts of eight players in the first team at the end of the 2015-2016 season.<br /><br />One of the players shown the exit door is Nigerian striker Edward Ofere, who joined The Tangerines in February on a short-term deal. <br /><br />Ofere played 10 games for Dundee United in the top-flight and was on target in the 2-1 loss to city rivals Dundee FC on Bank Holiday Monday.<br /><br />The 30-year-old wore the jersey of Inverness Caledonian Thistle before his shift to Boluspor in Turkey in 2015.<br /><br />He has also turned out for Malmo, Lecce, Trelleborgs FF, FC Vestsjælland and Sogndal.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
