Eddy Onazi, Leon Balogun & Carl Ikeme Rejoice After Win Against Cameroon
Super Eagles players were pleased that the national team bounced back from their 2 - 0 loss to Democratic Republic of Congo by beating African powerhouse Cameroon in Brussels on Sunday night.<br /><br />Goals from Efe Ambrose, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo gave Sunday Oliseh’s charges an emphatic 3 - 0 win over Les Lions Indomptables at the Edmond Machtens Stadium.<br /><br />Wolves glovesman Carl Ikeme said : “Great to bounce back with a 3-0 victory!!! Hope the fans , players and staff have a safe journey home 🙌ðŸ¾. ”<br /><br />Mainz defender Leon Balogun had one of his best games in a Nigeria jersey but refused to take the credit alone after assisting Ikeme keep his third shutout in four games for the Super Eagles.<br /><br />He said on Twitter : “Impressive performance tonight! That’s how you bounce back! Thanks for all the love, but there’s only one star - the team. ”<br /><br />Assistant Super Eagles skipper Eddy Onazi added : “Great game guys, we can only get better and better. With God all things are possible, safe trip back guysðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘🻠.”<br /><br />Nigeria will most likely lock horns with Swaziland in their next competitive fixture, a World Cup qualifier, in November.<br />
