England Star Of Nigerian Descent To Trouser N8 Billion Over Duration Of New Spurs Deal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will earn around &pound;50,000-a-week in the new six-year contract he signed with the White Hart Lane outfit, according to the British press. <br /><br /><i>Telegraph</i> has reported that the England starlet doubled his wages after agreeing terms on a new deal until 2022.<br /><br />When he initially joined Spurs in 2015, Dele Alli collected &pound;10,000 every week before his wages increased to &pound;25,000 when he penned a new deal in the January transfer window. <br /><br />Assuming Dele does not terminate or reevaluate his current contract before its expiration, which is highly unlikely , he is set to pocket &pound;14.95 million ( approximately N8 billion in Nigerian currency) over the duration of his contract.<br /><br />Tottenham Hotspur signed the 20-year-old from MK Dons for a transfer fee of five million pounds, excluding add-ons. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com<br />
