Enyimba Closing In On Deal For Ezekiel Bassey And Nnamso Edo
Akwa United are struggling to hold on to their key players ahead of the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League season.<br /><br />Six key players including Ezekiel Bassey, Emmanuel Ariwa, Nnamso Edo, Kufre Ebong, Utibe Achiebong and Aniefiong Godspower are all rumoured to be on their way out of the club.<br /><br />The offensive duo of Bassey and Edo are reported to be closing in on moves to CAF Champions League campaigners Enyimba International.<br /><br />The quartet of Utibe, Ariwa, Godspower and Ariwa are also close to sigining for some unnamed clubs in the land.<br /><br />Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the poor financial package at the club is the reason for their decision.<br /><br />The situation is becoming murkier by the day as more players are anxious to seek new adventures elsewhere.<br /><br />“We are likely going to lose some of our key players,” a top official of the club told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />“The difficulty is that you identify these players and the next minute, they are on their way out,” the official highlighted.
