The January transfer window is in full swing and one of the Nigerian players being talked about a lot is Lille striker Victor Osimhen.
The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with an interest in the Nigeria wonderkid, who has taken the French Ligue 1 by storm since his summer move from Sporting Charleroi.
At Friday's press conference, monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com, ahead of Lille's Coupe de France match against Gonfreville, Osimhen was asked to react to speculation linking him with the top teams in Europe.
The Lille number 7 told reporters : "It feels great, it shows that I am really, really working hard and I have been trying to improve myself as a player and as a person.
"I think I am happy here at Lille, very good environment for me to develop myself as the player I want to become in the future.
"As I always say every time, I am loyal to Lille and they are in charge of my future and they decide if I stay or if I go".
Osimhen has a price tag of between €80 million to €100 million and could become Africa's most expensive footballer in history if an interested club meet his asking price.
When asked if he was bothered by the huge €80m-€100m transfer fee placed on his head, the Super Eagle replied : "For me, I think I deserve it and Lille deserve it also.
"From the start of the season I have been working really quite hard to get to where I am today, to get the recognition in France also.
"I am not in the best position to say I'm worth this or not, Lille will decide anytime they want to sell me".
Including his stoppage time strike against Gonfreville this afternoon, Osimhen has scored 15 goals in all competitions this term while producing four assists.
