With a statement on the official website, English Premier League club Everton has confirmed the signing of English-Ghanaian-Nigerian attacker Tyrique George from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The London-born forward joins Everton on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign. George is eligible to represent three national teams internationally.
He can play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria through his father, the Black Stars of Ghana through his mother, or England, the country of his birth.
George began his football journey in Chelsea’s academy, joining at the age of eight.
He progressed through the club’s youth ranks and eventually earned a place in the senior squad.
He made his first-team debut in a Conference League play-off match in 2024 and contributed to Chelsea’s successful 2024/25 season, which included the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup campaigns.
Known for his versatility across the attacking line, George has already made appearances in the Premier League and Champions League, registering goals in both competitions.
George’s arrival adds depth to Everton’s forward options as the club aims to strengthen its attacking line for the remainder of the season.
