Ex-Liverpool Striker Anoruo Parts Company With Stockport County

With a statement published on their official website, National League North side Stockport County have announced that they have parted company with Nigerian-born striker Obi Anoruo.<br /><br />The 24-year-old Anoruo was one of the fourteen players released by the Hatters on Wednesday when they announced their retained list for the 2016-2017 season.<br /><br />He began his career with the Academy Team of Liverpool and did not make an appearance for the first team prior to his departure to Wrexham.<br /><br />On his curriculum vitae, Anoruo has also represented Newtown, Vauxhall Motors,Barrow, Hinckley United, Stalybridge Celtic,Colwyn Bay and Gloucester City.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Stockport County will have talks with former Nigeria international Kayode Odejayi in the coming weeks regarding a new deal.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br />Photo Credit : colwynbayfc.co.uk<br />
