Skillful Nigeria youth international Akinkunmi Amoo is in line to become the first Golden Eaglets player, class of 2019, to make his professional debut for a foreign club.
The winger cum attacking midfielder has been included in Hammarby's matchday 18 for an Allsvenskan clash against Norrköping, starting from 1800 hours at the östgötaporten on Thursday, August 13.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Amoo won't make his full competitive debut for Hammarby as he has not been selected in the starting lineup by manager Stefan Billborn, which won't come as a surprise to Hammarby and Nigeria fans as he trained with the team for only two days before the trip to Norrköping.
The Sidos Academy product has been allocated the number 33 jersey for the remainder of the 2020 season.
Speaking ahead of today's clash, Amoo told Hammarby TV : "My aim here is to be among the starting lineup, to do my best. God will support me and give me the strength to achieve my aim here.
"I came February, I saw the facilities, they are very good. I watched their matches, very fantastic players.
"We are looking forward to be on top very soon."
This website has been told that the likes of Ajax Amsterdam, AS Monaco, Racing Genk, AC Milan plus Turkish and German clubs will be keeping tabs on Amoo in Sweden, with a view to making a move for the winger in future.
