Exclusive : Kalmar Make Move For Nigeria Defender Gbenga Arokoyo
Swedish Allsvenskan side Kalmar are eager to sign Nigeria national-teamer Gbenga Arokoyo in the summer transfer window, <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands. <br /><br />Arokoyo, 23, is currently a free agent following the termination of his contract with Gaziantepspor as a result of financial issues and could be making a return to Sweden, where he played before his shift to the Turkish club.<br /><br />Gaziantepspor are still owing the central defender a part of his wages and they have not even paid the balance of his transfer fees, in the region of 30,000 euros, to Mjällby AIF.<br /><br />Kalmar have started talks with Arokoyo’s intermediary over a move to the Guldfågeln Arena.<br /><br />The Kwara Football Academy product was one of the key players at Mjällby AIF before he joined Gaziantepspor in 2014.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
