<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that Turkish First League club Sanliurfaspor are hopeful of wrapping up the signing of Gbenga Arokoyo in the coming days.<br /><br />Sanliurfaspor are targeting promotion to the Super Lig in the new season and have embarked on a massive recruitment drive, with the Nigeria international defender at the top of their wishlist. <br /><br /> The south-eastern Turkish club will operate on a shoestring budget in the 2016-2017 campaign and have offered Gbenga Arokoyo less than 180,000 euros per season (equivalent of N67.5 million) as wages. <br /><br />In his first season in Turkey, the central defender pocketed <span class=\"_Tgc\">€</span>10,000 every month and <span>Gaziantepspor provided him with a flat.<br /><br />The free agent is not putting all his eggs in one basket and was in contact with the sporting director of Kalmar, </span><span><span class=\"st\">Thomas Andersson-Borstam, regarding a transfer two days ago. <br /><br />Arokoyo and Thomas go back a long way as the Swede was once the sporting director of his first club in Europe, Mjällby AIF.</span> <br /></span><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
