Willian's arrival adds to further competition for the talented Saka, with Nicolas Pepe, Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles also available options on the flanks for the North London club.
That said, though the Anglo-Nigerian has earned his salt at the club thanks to his barnstorming performances last season, it is expected he will have to prove his mettle all over again following the acquisition of the experienced Willian who he could be directly competing with.
The 18- year -old carved out a reputation as an assist provider last season, ending the campaign with 12 assists in all competitions, making him the club's king of assists while he also find the net four times.
One thing is certain, if Saka gets to add more goals to his repertoire, then it is unthinkable that Mikel Arteta will want to drop him from the starting XI in the course of next season.
His versatility also seem to tip the scale in his favour. Saka can play in a number of positions in any set-up for the Gunners and has already demonstrated this last term, playing over half of his outings away from his natural attacking winger position.
