Glasgow Rangers hero Barry Ferguson has suggested that clubs in England are keeping tabs on Joe Aribo.
As previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, the central midfielder had attracted interest from an unnamed English Premier League club this summer but he stayed put at the Scottish Premiership champions when the window closed for business.
One of the most dependable players at Rangers, it is only a matter of time before he moves on to pastures new, with the Premier League his preferred destination.
Although Aribo is a key player in Steven Gerrard's side, it is believed that the Light Blues hierarchy won't shut the door on his possible departure in the future provided an interested club meet their asking price for the Nigeria national teamer.
"A lot of people talk about Ryan Kent and [Alfredo] Morelos. I think Aribo is one player a lot of clubs down south will be looking closely at."
Former Charlton Athletic man Aribo is under contract at Rangers until the end of the 2022-2023 season.
