Flying Eagles hopeful fires hat-trick as Crystal Palace U18s beat Hotspur
Ademola Ola-Adebomi continued his rich vein of form for Crystal Palace U18s by netting his first hat-trick at that level as the Eagles defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in the U18 Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
With his treble in the London derby, it means the 17-year-old has found the net in six of his last seven matches for the U18 team of Crystal Palace.
Dorrington got the scoring underway for the home team in the fourth minute but Ola-Adebomi leveled things up in the tenth minute before making it 2-1 in the 18th minute.
After Kyerematen equalised for Tottenham, another striker of Nigerian descent Victor Akinwale fired the visitors back in front in the 35th minute.
A minute into stoppage time, Ola-Adebomi made sure the points were safe when he rolled the ball into an empty net after capitalising on a defensive error.
The promising teenager has said he would like to play international football for Nigeria and is age-eligible for the Flying Eagles.
Ola-Adebomi has been described as a big, powerful, fast and left-footed striker and models his game after Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku.
