Flying Eagles In Confident Mood Ahead Of Showdown With Hungary
Nigeria Under 20s coach Manu Garba has stated that his charges are confident going into their last Group E fixture against Hungary on Sunday morning.

The Flying Eagles got their Fifa Under 20 World Cup campaign back on track two days ago with a 4 - 0 hammering of North Korea after conceding four goals against Brazil in their opener.

“Our win against Korea has motivated the team after we lost our first game to Brazil,” Manu Garba told reporters at a press conference on Saturday.

“We want to at least finish second in our group and so we want the maximum points against Hungary.”

Second - placed Hungary came into this tournament with a good pedigree, having finished fourth at the Euro Under 19s , so underrating them will be at your own peril.

“Even as we wish to win this match, we have to say Hungary are a good side.

“But they cannot afford to stay back in defence against us as they did against Brazil because we have one of the best attacks in this competition,” Manu Garba added.

Should the African champions fail to beat Hungary, they can still qualify for the next round if they draw against the Europeans.
