Goalkeeper
Orewale Oremade: Really should have done better in keeping out Danylo Sikan's header. (6/10)
Defenders
Rabiu Zulkifilu: While he ventured very little forward, his defending left a lot to be desired.
Left in a heap by Oleksii Kashchuk who crossed for Sikan to head Ukraine ahead. (5/10)
Aliu Salawudeen: In no man's land for the opener as he left too much space for Sikan to sneak in and nod home. (5/10)
Igoh Ogbu: Was among the best players on parade for the Flying Eagles. One of the positives for Nigeria. (6.5/10)
Ikouwem Utin: Usually the team's source of attacking menace from the back and sent in a couple of crosses which came to nought. (6/10)
Midfielders
Nnamdi Ofoborh: Had a chance at goal which he failed to make the most of while he swung in some dangerous-looking corners for the attackers. (7/10)
Aniekeme Okon: Carved out little spectacular and didn't really look convincing. Went on some runs into the opposition area but was usually stooped in his tracks. (6/10)
Kingsley Michael: Had a hushed showing and saw little of the ball in truth. (5/10)
Effiom Maxwell: Full of running and twisting but little end product to show for it. Booked for a stamp. (5.5/10)
Attackers
Success Makanjuola: Exuberantly pushed forward particularly in the first half but lost some touch in the second. Nearly grabbed the game winner in the closing stages but for a smart stop from Lunin. (7.5/10)
Tijani Muhamed: Shooting was frustratingly hit-and-miss for most part of it though he tried using his built in aerial duels. Sent his initial penalty too close at Andriy Lunin before redeeming himself with a deft second. (6.5/10)
