Former Nigeria Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana Returns To Wolverhampton Wanderers
Defensive midfielder Seyi Olofinjana has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers, eight years after he left the club to join Stoke City. <br /><br />With the first-teamers and the outstanding youngsters at the Academy off to Ireland for pre-season training, the defensive midfielder was drafted into the U21s squad for Saturday’s friendly against Hednesford Town.<br /><br />However, Olofinjana was not at the match venue to make up the numbers as he was given a run out in the closing minutes of the encounter against the Northern Premier League Premier Division opponents. <br /><br />Now 36, he spent four seasons at the Molineux and netted 18 goals (6 assists) in 142 appearances for the club across all competitions.<br /><br />Apart from the aforementioned teams, he represented Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday, Cardiff City, IK Start and SK Brann.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : wolves.co.uk<br />
