Sweden U21 international of Nigerian descent Jeremy Agbonifo is on the verge of a return to Swedish football, according to reports.
Swedish newspaper Expressen says BK Hacken are a few details away from re-signing the winger on loan from French club RC Lens.
The dual-national attacker joined RC Lens in January 2025 for a fee of €6.5 million but has since struggled for regular playing time.
As a result, he was loaned to FC Basel last summer in a bid to secure more consistent first-team opportunities.
This would mark Agbonifo’s third spell at BK Häcken, where he began his career before moving to the youth set-up at FC Porto and subsequently returning to the Wasps in February 2024.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at FC Basel, who have the option to make the move permanent, but he won't be staying there, with a transfer to BK Hacken imminent.
BK Hacken and Lens have reached a club-to-club agreement for the transfer of Agbonifo, who registered 8 goal involvements in nineteen outings for the Wasps before he was sold to the Ligue 1 team.
Agbonifo struck on his debut for Lens against Montpellier in January 2025, though he was unable to add to his tally in the seven matches that followed.
